Trinity Western Spartans
The Trinity Western Spartans are the athletic teams that represent Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. The university's teams are members of U Sports (previously CIS), and compete in the Canada West Universities Athletics Association, and where applicable, in the Pacific division. Since joining Canada West and U Sports (then CIS) in 1999, the Spartans have captured 13 U Sports team championships and 32 Canada West team championships. The Spartans men's volleyball team has won six national championships, while the women's soccer team have won five and the women's volleyball team has won two. U Sports Men's Volleyball Championship
The U Sports Men's Volleyball Championship is a Canadian university volleyball tournament conducted by U Sports, and determines the men's national champion. The tournament involves the champions from each of Canada's four regional sports conferences. The Tantramar Trophy is awarded to the winners. The 2025 champions are the Brandon Bobcats, who won their first championship in program history. The Manitoba Bisons, Winnipeg Wesmen and Alberta Golden Bears have won the most championships with each school having won ten times. U Sports Men's Volleyball
U Sports men's volleyball is the highest level of amateur play of men's indoor volleyball in Canada and operates under the auspices of U Sports (formerly Canadian Interuniversity Sport). Thirty-one teams from List of universities in Canada, Canadian universities are divided into three athletic conferences, drawing from the three of the four regional associations of U Sports: Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CW), Ontario University Athletics (OUA), and Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ). Emma Maud Nuttall (born 23 April 1992) is a British track and field athlete who specialises in the high jump. She represented Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won the British title in 2013. Jenaya Hope Robertson (born April 8, 1997) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for Calgary Wild FC in the Northern Super League. Early life Robertson played youth soccer with Coastal FC. Paul Hamilton (born March 23, 1988) is a Canadian soccer player who is the head coach for League1 Alberta side Edmonton Scottish. Previously having played professionally for the Vancouver Whitecaps, FC Edmonton and the Carolina Railhawks.
