Triathlon
A triathlon is an endurance multisport race consisting of Swimming (sport), swimming, Cycle sport, cycling, and running over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall completion time, racing each segment sequentially with the time transitioning between the disciplines included. Crisanto Grajales Valencia (born 6 May 1987) is a Mexican triathlete who won gold medals at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and 2015 Pan American Games. He placed 28th at the 2012 Olympics and 12th at the 2016 Rio Games. Grajales took up triathlon aged nine. He served as the flag bearer for Mexico at the 2011 Pan American Games and won the Mexican National Sports Award in 2015. Jill Savege
Jill Savege (born March 17, 1974) is a Canadian triathlete. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Savege now lives in Thousand Oaks, California. A graduate of Simon Fraser University, she was a swimmer while a student and only turned to triathlon after graduation. In 2003 Savege had an excellent year capturing a number of world circuit titles and winning gold at the Pan-American Games. She was ranked as one of the best in the world. Sharon Lynn Donnelly (born July 29, 1967) is an athlete from Canada, who competed in triathlon (1.5-km swim, 40-km cycle, 10-km run). Donnelly graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 1990, (17324) with a B.A. (Commerce), and served as an Army Logistics Officer for 5 years. She won the gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. To pursue a spot on the 2000 Olympic team, Donnelly transferred to the Reserves in 1995 and competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She took thirty-eighth place with a total time of 2:14:35.59. She continued racing with an aim of making a second Olympic team in 2004 but missed inclusion by 22 seconds.
