Turkmenistan President's Cup
Turkmenistan President’s Cup was an international football tournament in Turkmenistan which was created in 1995 and dissolved in 2013. The tournament was dedicated to Day of State Flag of Turkmenistan. The tournament prize money was US 35,000. The winner would receive US$20,000 together with President’s Cup, the silver-medal winner – US$10,000 and the bronze-medal winner – US$5,000. The international football tournament traditionally held in Ashgabat is very popular in the region. Over its history, teams from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Estonia, Iran, Turkey, Republic of Korea, China, Thailand competed for Turkmenistan President’s Cup. The Turkmenistan national football team ( tk, Türkmenistanyň milli futbol ýygyndysy) represents Turkmenistan in men's international football and it is controlled by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, the governing body for football in Turkmenistan. Köpetdag Aşgabat
The Köpet Dag, Kopet Dagh, or Koppeh Dagh ( tk, Köpetdag; fa, کپهداغ), also known as the Turkmen-Khorasan Mountain Range, is a mountain range on the border between Turkmenistan and Iran that extends about along the border southeast of the Caspian Sea, stretching northwest-southeast from near the Caspian Sea in the northwest to the Harirud River in the southeast. In the southwest it borders on the parallel eastern endings of the Alborz mountains being together part of the much larger Alpide belt. The highest peak of the range in Turkmenistan is the Mount Rizeh (Kuh-e Rizeh), located at the southwest of the capital Ashgabat and stands at .
