Turkish Women's Handball First League
The Turkish Women's Handball First League () is the second-tier league for Turkey, Turkish women's Team handball, handball clubs. Established in the 1978–79 season as the top-level handball league, it was renamed later to Turkish Women's Handball Super League, Super League. 15 teams compete in two groups (2024-25 season). At the end of the season play-offs, the league champion and the runner-up are promoted to the Turkish Women's Hansball Super League, Women's Super League, the season's last placed team of each group is relegated to the Turkish Women's Handball Second League, Women's Second League. Polatlı (formerly Ancient Greek: Γόρδιον, Górdion and Latin: Gordium) is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of Ankara Province, Turkey. Its area is 3,618 km2, and its population is 128,378 (2022). It is 80 km west of the Turkish capital Ankara, on the road to Eskişehir. Its elevation is 853 m. Geography Polatlı is situated at the heart of the high Anatolian Plateau, a large steppe covered with grass. Far from the coast, it has a typical steppe climate.
