Turkey competed at the 2005 Summer Universiade in İzmir, Turkey from 11 August to 22 August 2005. A total of 285 athletes were a part of the Turkish team competing in 14 sports branches. 2005 Summer Universiade
The 2005 Summer Universiade, also known as the XXIII Summer Universiade, took place in İzmir, Turkey, in August. Damla Günay (born 24 November 1982) is a Turkish archer. Günay represented Turkey at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She placed 42nd in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 620.
