"Tout près du bonheur" (meaning "So Close to Happiness") is a duet between Marc Dupré and Celine Dion, released as a music download on 11 April 2006 in Quebec, Canada. It is the fourth single from Dupré's debut album ''Refaire le monde'', released on 18 October 2005. Background and release "Tout près du bonheur" was composed in 2000 by Dion for Dupré and Anne-Marie Angelil's wedding. Dion performed it after the ceremony. During the recording of his first album in 2005, Dupré asked Dion for permission to cover the song. The mother-in-law accepted it at once and recorded background vocals. Tino Izzo produced the track. Dupré collaborated with Dion already in the past. He was the opening act for her concerts at the Paris Olympia in 1994. They also performed a live duet in April 2002 on "Sous le vent." Marc Dupré (born July 28, 1973) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician from Quebec. Career His first album release was ''Refaire le monde'' in 2005. It included " Tout près du bonheur" with Céline Dion. The song was written by Dion and a music video was also released that was shot in Nevada. At the first Gala Artis, held in Montreal on April 30, 2006, Céline Dion also performed the song with Dupré. Dupré opened for Céline Dion in her "Taking Chances" tour in Montréal and the release of a second album ''Revenir à toi'' in 2008. His third album ''Entre deux toz'' also contained a duet with Dion in the track "Y'a pas de mots". His fourth album was released in 2013 titled ''Nous sommes les mêmes'' earning him the Félix for "Best male artist of the year"during the "35e Gala L'ADISQ" on October 27, 2013. "On s'est aimé à cause" (meaning "We've Loved Each Other Because") is the third and last single released in Quebec from Celine Dion's French-language album '' D'elles''. It was sent to radio stations in August 2007. Background and release The lyrics were written by Françoise Dorin (author of " Et s'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-là)") and music by Marc Dupré and Jean-François Breau. Tino Izzo produced the track. Dion worked with Izzo already on " Plus haut que moi" in 1993 and "Tout près du bonheur" in 2005 (which she recorded as a duet with Dupré, who also co-wrote this song).
