This page documents notable tornadoes and tornado outbreaks worldwide in 2022. Strong and destructive tornadoes form most frequently in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Bangladesh, and East India, Eastern India, but can occur almost anywhere under the right conditions. Andover, Kansas
Andover is a city in Butler County, Kansas, United States, and a suburb of Wichita, Kansas, Wichita. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, the population of the city was 14,892. List Of United States Tornadoes From January To March 2022
This page documents all tornadoes confirmed by various weather forecast offices of the National Weather Service in the United States from January to March 2022. In a recent 2000–2020 period, an average January features 32 tornadoes across the United States, the lowest month in a given year; the broader 1991–2010 climatology is slightly higher at 35. An additional 36 tornadoes are recorded in February, and about 80 tornadoes are recorded in March. These tornadoes are commonly focused across the Southern United States due to their proximity to the unstable airmass and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as California in association with winter storms. Hail
Hail is a form of solid Precipitation (meteorology), precipitation. It is distinct from ice pellets (American English "sleet"), though the two are often confused. It consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice, each of which is called a hailstone.
