Tony O'Sullivan
Anthony O'Sullivan (born 7 January 1963) is an Irish retired hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a right wing-forward for the Cork senior hurling team. Born in Farranree, Cork, O'Sullivan first played competitive Gaelic games during his schooling at the North Monastery. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor teams as a dual player before later joining the under-21 sides. He made his senior hurling debut during the 1982 championship. O'Sullivan immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won three All-Ireland medals, seven Munster medals and one National Hurling League medal. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, O'Sullivan won one Railway Cup medal on the field of play. Na Piarsaigh GAA
Na Piarsaigh Hurling and Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Fair Hill, Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Seandún Board and fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football. History Located in the Fair Hill area on the northside of Cork, Na Piarsaigh Hurling and Football Club was founded by a group of North Monastery students in 1943. The club is named in honour of Pádraig Pearse, to reflect the nationalist ideals of the club and its members. Early training sessions took place at Collins Barracks, prior to the club acquiring their own playing field in 1951. Na Piarsaigh had their first success when, in 1946, they claimed their City JHC title. 1995 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship of 1995 (known for the first time for sponsorship reasons as the Guinness Hurling Championship 1995) was the 109th staging of Ireland's premier hurling knock-out competition. Clare won the championship, beating Offaly 1-13 to 2-8 in the final at Croke Park, Dublin, it was their first All-Ireland win since 1914. Munster Minor Football Championship
The Munster Minor Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is currently sponsored by Electric Ireland and therefore officially known as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Football Minor Championship. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Munster final currently being played on the second Sunday in July. The minor final provides the curtain-raiser to the senior final. The winning team is presented with the Tadhg Crowley Cup. Ballyhea GAA is a hurling club in the village of Ballyhea in Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Avondhu, division of Cork GAA. As of 2015, the club was competing in the Cork Senior Hurling Championship. It did not field Gaelic football teams for a number of years, however, as of 2023 they compete in the Avondhu Junior football championship structure. Erin's Own GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Glounthaune, County Cork, Ireland. The club fields teams in hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. The club is part of the Imokilly division. History Located in the Little Island, Knockraha, Brooklodge and Glounthaune areas of east Cork, Erin's Own GAA Club was founded in 1963 following the amalgamation of the Knockraha and Little Island clubs.
