Barclay Bailes
Barclay 'Titch' Shrapnell Bailes (9 August 1883 – 24 September 1955), sometimes known as "Bark" Bailes, was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFA) in 1904, for Fitzroy Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1905 to 1909, and for Brighton in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), from 1910 to 1915. Family Born on 9 August 1883, "Titch" was the son of Millinda Sperring Stephenson (1851-1902) and Alfred Shrapnell Bailes (1849-1928) — who was the Mayor of Sandhurst, (1883-1884), and member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly (1896-1894, 1897–1907) — and he was also the older brother of one-time Collingwood footballer, Ernie Bailes. On one occasion, another younger brother, Alfred Bailes, a spectator at the match, took exception to a fierce charge made on "Titch" by Herbert Robinson, during the 27 July 1912 match between Brighton and Williamstown. Arthur Edwards (footballer, Born 1915)
Albert Arthur "Titch" Edwards (20 August 1915 – 15 October 2002) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Edwards, nicknamed Titch, played originally at Laygols before he arrived at Fitzroy in 1936. His appearances were limited and only in 1938 was he a regular in the side. He became coach of Tasmanian club New Norfolk in 1947. Later, Edwards joined the Fitzroy coaching staff and in the 1961 VFL season The 1961 VFL season was the 65th season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Victoria. William Horne (footballer)
William Henry Horne (19 April 1885 – 1930) was an English footballer who played in the Southern League for Plymouth Argyle and Fulham. He was a goalkeeper. Horne served with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry in South Africa during the Second Boer War. Life and career Horne was born in Plympton. He served with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry in South Africa during the Second Boer War before returning to play football in Devon and Cornwall. Horne played for Tavistock and Essa prior to joining Plymouth Argyle on amateur terms in January 1904. He served as understudy to Jack Robinson in his first season and made three appearances before signing a professional contract. Trevor Richard "Titch" Moore (born 18 February 1976) is a South African professional golfer. He currently plays on the Sunshine Tour, where he has won seven times between 2000 and 2007. Moore was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He turned pro in 1997 and joined the Sunshine Tour in that same year. His best finish on the Order of Merit for the Sunshine Tour came in the 2004–05 season where he finished 4th. He has also played on the European Tour, and the second tier Challenge Tour, where he won the Skandia PGA Open in 2003. Michael Phelan (hurler)
Michael Phelan (born 3 August 1967) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. At club level he played with Glenmore and was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lined out at midfield. Career Phelan first came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Glenmore club before eventually joining the club's top adult team. He won a total of five County Senior Championship titles with the club and was at centre-forward for the All-Ireland Club Championship success in 1991. Phelan first appeared on the inter-county scene with the Kilkenny under-21 team that suffered All-Ireland final defeat by Cork in 1988. This success saw him drafted on to the Kilkenny senior hurling team in 1989. Phelan would go on to line out in three consecutive All-Ireland finals at senior level and, after defeat by Tipperary in 1991, claimed consecutive winners' medals against Cork in 1992 and Galway in 1993. Titch (TV Series)
''Titch'' is a British stop-motion children's television programme that originally aired on Children's ITV from 1997 to 2001, then from 2001 to 1 January 2006 on Tiny Living, before appearing on Milkshake! in September 2004 as Tiny Living went off-air. It was created by Pat Hutchins, also the creator of the ''Titch'' book series. Production According to Pat Hutchins, each episode took three weeks to shoot as it was created in stop-motion animation, using clay models instead of proposed cartoons. The models were miniatures, as ITV gave the animating team a limited budget so that production or scale was minimalistic. After the first two series finished airing in 1999, a third series went into production, and premiered during 2000, before it had its final episode in mid-2001. There is no disclosed reason why the programme was cancelled, but repeats of the programme aired occasionally until around 2003. Ball Boy (Beano)
''Ball Boy'' is a strip in UK comic ''The Beano'' and also the name of the main character. Strip History Ball Boy and his comic strip first debuted in issue 1,735, dated 18 October 1975 featuring a five-a-side football team who usually lost all their matches. The strip was drawn by Malcolm Judge until his death in 1989. John Dallas took over from him afterwards, and drew it until his retirement in April 2003. The strip was then revamped and taken over by Dave Eastbury. Nigel Parkinson and Tom Paterson both occasionally draw the strip as well. In issue 3,481 (2 May 2009) a John Dallas reprint was used. For issue 3,260, dated 8 January 2005, the Ball Boy strip was meant to feature a French footballer called Henry Thierry who wore a red shirt. In the strip he is shown a red card and then runs from the team bath when a snorkel appears close to him saying "Time to va-va-voom" – a reference to the Renault adverts in which Thierry Henry appears. Carl Dobson (born 31 January 1983), better known by his stage name Crazy Titch, is a British grime MC who is now serving a life sentence for murder. Crazy Titch was a successful and well-known grime MC during his active period. Early life and education Dobson was born in Plaistow, East London. As a teenager Dobson spent five years in Feltham Young Offenders' Institute for robbery, handling stolen goods, theft, burglary and criminal damage; On his release in 2003 Dobson turned his attention to grime music. Dobson became estranged from his brother, Durrty Goodz, during his childhood, but they later reconnected and became musical collaborators. Career He gained underground fame due to his membership of grime collective Boyz In Da Hood, which included various artists including half-brother Durrty Goodz. The Taylor Titch is a British fixed-wing homebuilt aircraft, developed in the 1960s by J.F. As a result of Taylor designed a high performance single-seater, the Titch based on his earlier Taylor Monoplane. At the closing date of the competition 42 designs had been submitted which was won by a project named Beta but the Titch was placed second.
