Tim Taylor (born 4 October 1982 in Derby, England) is a former rugby union player who played at fly-half. Career Taylor made his first appearance for Gloucester when he came off the bench against Worcester in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. A week later he started his first game against Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop in the same competition and scored a try and a match winning conversion to send Gloucester into the semi-finals. Taylor initially signed on loan but after just three appearances he signed a two-year contract. The Anglo-Welsh Cup (), was a cross-border rugby union knock-out cup competition that featured the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. It was a created as a replacement for the RFU Knockout Cup, which featured only English clubs. Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887.
