Tim Matheson
Tim Matheson (born Timothy Lewis Matthieson; December 31, 1947) is an American actor and director. Some of his best-known acting roles include the title character of the 1960s animated ''Jonny Quest (TV series), Jonny Quest'' TV series, Eric "Otter" Stratton in the 1978 comedy film ''Animal House, National Lampoon's Animal House'', and the recurring role of Vice President John Hoynes in the 2000s National Broadcasting Company, NBC drama ''The West Wing'', which earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. ''Bonanza'' is an American Western television series that ran on NBC from September 12, 1959, to January 16, 1973. Lasting 14 seasons and 431 episodes, ''Bonanza'' is NBC's longest-running Western, the second-longest-running Western series on American network television (behind CBS's '' Gunsmoke''), and one of the longest-running, live-action American series. The Hardy Boys, brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, are fictional characters who appear in a series of mystery novels for young readers.
