Thomas Dayley
Thomas E. "Tom" Dayley (born February 15, 1944, in Burley, Idaho) was a Republican Idaho State Representative from 2012 to 2019 representing District 21 in the B seat. Dayley served as Idaho State Executive Director of USDA Farm Service Agency under Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Dayley was appointed by Speaker Scott Bedke to Idaho's Independent Redistricting Commission, after Bedke's first choice (John Simpson) was deemed ineligible due to lobbying rules. Education Dayley earned his BA degrees in political science and Spanish from Brigham Young University and his MA in international relations from the University of Southern California. Ada County is located in the southwestern part of Idaho, United States. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 494,967, which by 2024 was estimated to have risen to 535,799. Ada County is by far the state's most populous county; it is home to 26.8% of the state's population. The county seat and largest city is Boise, which is also the state capital. Benito 'Ben' T. Ysursa is an American attorney and politician who served as the Secretary of State of Idaho from 2003 to 2015. He is a member of the Republican Party. Early life and education Ysursa is a native of Boise, Idaho and was born to a Basque American family. His paternal grandparents, Benito Ysursa and Asuncion Camporredondo, were immigrants from the Basque Country. His father, Ramon Ysursa (1920-2015), was active in the Basque American community in Boise. Ben Ysursa graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1967.
