The UMC's was an American hip hop duo from the borough of Staten Island in New York City. The group was composed of Haas G and Kool Kim, who released the critically acclaimed full-length album ''Fruits of Nature'' in 1991, which garnered chart success with the duo's No. 1 Billboard Hot Rap Single, "Blue Cheese", and No. 2 Hot Rap Single, "One To Grow On." (which contains a sample from "Ursalena" by Bill Cosby) In 1994, the duo released its second album, ''Unleashed'', but split up soon after. NYOIL (pronounced N-Y Oil) (born April 29, 1971) is an American emcee from Staten Island, New York City. His name was formerly an acronym for "New York's Original International Lover". He began rapping at the age of twelve, and in 1988 he paired up with fellow Staten Island rapper Haas G to form the hip-hop duo the U.M.C.'s. "Magic Stick" is a song by American rapper Lil' Kim featuring fellow American rapper 50 Cent, released on April 8, 2003 as the second single from her third studio album '' La Bella Mafia'' (2003). The song was produced by Carlos "Fantom of the Beat" Evans. Despite not having a physical release or music video, the song performed very well on the charts, peaking at number 2 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Background The song samples "It Be's That Way Sometimes" by Joe Simon. The song was originally intended for 50 Cent's album ''Get Rich or Die Tryin''' and featured rapper Trina.
