The Rise (band)
The Rise was a five-piece American band from Austin, Texas. Their sound is a combination of metalcore, hardcore techno, post-hardcore and heavy metal music, metal. The band is currently signed to ReIgnition Recordings and their latest album, ''Reclamation Process (Rise Album), Reclamation Process'', was released on as a free album for subscribers of Law of Inertia, the rock mag product of Cory Killduff. on May 31, 2005. They toured constantly in 2001–2004, and from their inclusion on the Hellfest (American music festival), Hellfest 2002 compilation DVD. ''The Rise'' is the fourth studio album by American rapper Futuristic. It was released independently on May 12, 2015. The album features guest appearances from D-Pryde, Samson, Casto and Devvon Terrell. The album was supported by two singles: "No Way" and "The Greatest". Background The album was announced on March 1, 2015 on Futuristic's website. Promotion Singles The album's lead single, titled "No Way" was released on September 20, 2014. The music video was released two days later and was directed by Jakob Owens. Since its release, the music video has received over 14 million views. The song was produced by Twigg. Samuel Bouriah (born 19 October 1969), better known by his stage name DJ Sammy, is a Spanish DJ and record producer. He has released five albums and has had five top-10 hits, including a cover of Bryan Adams' "Heaven", which reached number one in the UK in 2002. His career started with ex-wife Marie-José van der Kolk in the making of his first singles, under the stage name of DJ Sammy featuring Carisma. Career DJ Sammy started his music career in 1984 in pubs and dance clubs of Mallorca. During this time he completed training as a sound technician at the Mallorca Music College. In 1991, he met dancer Marie-José van der Kolk and they performed at Zorba's Club in Palma. In 1992, DJ Sammy became resident DJ at the Joy Palace Club in Arenal and Marie Jose was a resident dancer there. ''The Rise'' (titled ''Wasteland'' in North America) is a 2012 British crime film starring Luke Treadaway and Timothy Spall with a revenge theme. Plot The film opens with DI West (Spall) interviewing Harvey Miller (Treadaway) who had been framed by a gangster called Roper. In flashback we are shown how Harvey, 6 weeks earlier, had been released from prison where he had used information heard in prison to plan his revenge on Roper. Harvey tells how he has planned and executed his revenge using his friends. He reveals details of the failed revenge, a robbery, to West. West reminds Miller of a football match during which a player of a similar description to Miller's, was "let down by his team". There is insufficient evidence to charge Harvey. West leaves the room, the interview tape recording having been stopped.
