The Outlaws (2021 TV Series)
''The Outlaws'' is a British crime thriller comedy television series created by Elgin James and Stephen Merchant, and directed by Merchant and John Butler. It is shown on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK and Amazon Prime Video in the United States and some other international territories. Filming of the first season was halted in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In January 2021, it was confirmed that a second series had been ordered, with production for the first series resuming in February 2021. It was later confirmed that both series had been filmed back to back. The first series premiered on 25 October 2021, and the second series premiered on 5 June 2022. The programme was renewed for a third series in March 2023, and premiered on 30 May 2024. Dan Jones (composer)
Dan Jones is a British composer and sound designer working in film and theatre. He read music at the University of Oxford, studied contemporary music theatre at the Banff Centre for the Arts and studied electro-acoustic composition and programming at the Centro Ricerche Musicali in Rome. Having explored various means of generating music algorithmically, he is the author of one of the earliest pieces of software for generating fractal or self-similar music. He has won BAFTA and Ivor Novello Awards. He composed the score for the Peabody Award-winning documentary film Bobi Wine: The People's President. John Butler (born 4 July 1972) is an Irish director, screenwriter, and novelist. in 2011, Picador published his novel "The Tenderloin".
