Sixto Pondal Ríos (April 8, 1907 - September 29, 1968) was an Argentine screenwriter, poet and dramatist. Rios was born in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. Although most of his film work took place in Argentina, the 1948 film ''Romance on the High Seas'' was based on his story (with Carlos Olivari) and is notable as Doris Day's first film role. Luis Sandrini (22 February 1905 – 5 July 1980) was a prolific Argentine comic film actor and film producer. Widely considered one of the most respected and most acclaimed Argentine comedians by the public and critics. He has made over 80 appearances in film between 1933 and 1980. Early life He was born in the neighborhood of Caballito and was the son of Genovese immigrants. His father was a theatrical actor, and Luis began to work in a circus next to his parents, like clown. In the 1930s he entered the theatrical company of Enrique Muiño and Elías Isaac Alippi, where he met his first wife, the actress Chela Cordero. Guillermo Battaglia (December 7, 1899September 26, 1988) was a prolific Argentine film actor of the classic era of Argentine cinema. Born in Buenos Aires, he began his film career in 1937 in '' Melodías porteñas''. Battaglia starred in over 100 films between then and 1987. Juan Corona (actor)
Juan Vallejo Corona (February 7, 1934 – March 4, 2019) was a Mexican serial killer who was convicted of the murders of 25 migrant farm workers found buried in peach orchards along the Feather River in Sutter County, California in 1971. At the time, his crimes were among the most notorious in U.S. history. Until the discovery of Dean Corll's victims in 1973, he was the deadliest known American serial killer. Corona was convicted of 25 counts of first-degree murder in 1973. An appellate court overturned the conviction in 1978 on the basis of incompetent legal representation and granted him a new trial. In 1982, he was again found guilty on all counts. He served a life sentence in California State Prison, Corcoran, and died in 2019.
