The King's Academy is a private, Christian junior and senior high school in Sunnyvale, California, United States. It is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was founded in 1991 and is housed on the former campus of Sunnyvale High School. Student Body Total enrollment is just over 950 students, about 60% high school students and 40% junior high. In the 2016–2018 school year, about 42% of students were Asian, 36% White, 12% Multi-Racial, 5% Hispanic/Latino, 2% Black and 1% Other. There were also 22 international students. The King's Academy is a private, Christian, coeducational, pre-K–12 college-preparatory school in West Palm Beach, Florida. Established in 1970, it is run by an independent board of governors. History The King's Academy was founded by a group of Christian business leaders in August 1970 and opened on the campus of Belvedere Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1971, the school purchased a 20-acre campus on Cherry Road where it remained until the 2004 school year. In August 2005, The King's Academy moved to its current location, 65 acres at Belvedere Road and Sansbury's Way in Palm Beach County, Florida. King's Academy Prospect is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in West Reading, Berkshire, England. History Stoneham Secondary School for Boys opened in April 1956 and Westwood Girls School opened in April 1958. Prospect School was formed in 1985 by combining Stoneham Boys School and Westwood Girls School. To this day the school has two entrances because the combined Stoneham and Westwood buildings were originally built close to each other and each had its own entrance. The King's Church of England Academy (formerly Clough Hall Technology School and then The King's Church of England School) is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Kidsgrove in the English county of Staffordshire. Previously a community school administered by Staffordshire County Council, in January 2015 Clough Hall Technology School became a Church of England voluntary aided school and was renamed The King's Church of England School. King's Academy (Arabic transliteration: "كينغز أكاديمي") is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for students in grades 7 to 12 in Madaba-Manja, Jordan. It is named in honor of King Abdullah II of Jordan and seeks to fulfill His Majesty's vision of producing "a new generation of enlightened and creative minds." King Abdullah attended high school at Deerfield Academy in the United States as there was no school of comparable standing in Jordan when he was a boy, but his son Crown Prince Hussein enrolled in the new school's second incoming class (2008).
