"This Gift" is the first single released by American boy band 98 Degrees from their third studio album, '' This Christmas''. It was written by Anders Bagge, Arnthor Birgisson, Dane Deviller, and Sean Hosein and released during Christmastime of 1999. The single peaked at number 49 in the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number 14 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart. 98 Degrees (stylized as 98°) is an American pop and R&B vocal group consisting of four vocalists: the group's founding member Jeff Timmons, brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, and Justin Jeffre. The group was formed by Timmons in Los Angeles, California, although all of its members originate from Ohio. Unlike most boy bands, they formed independently and were later picked up by a record label, rather than being assembled by a label or a producer. Bro'Sis was a multicultural R&B/pop group from Germany, which was formed through the TV series ''Popstars – Du bist mein Traum'' in 2001. The group comprised the singers Ross Antony, Hila Bronstein, Shaham Joyce, Faiz Mangat, Indira Weis, and Giovanni Zarrella. Indira Weis (born Verena Weis; 30 September 1979) is a German singer and actress who rose to fame as a member of the R&B/ Pop group Bro'Sis. Biography Early life Weis was born the second daughter to Manju, an Indian interpreter and her German-Jewish father Helmut, a retired grammar school teacher. Her father's ancestors were Hungarian Jews who had converted to Christianity to avoid being socially marginalized. Her one-year older sister works as a flight attendant. Weis received the nickname "Indira" on a trip to India where she has relatives. At the age of five, Weis started taking piano and guitar lessons. After finishing school and a short period of studying music sciences and American studies, Weis started taking theatrical lessons in a theatre school in Munich.
