Roger Ream
Roger R. Ream (born November 12, 1954, in Neenah, Wisconsin, United States) is the president of The Fund for American Studies (TFAS), a nonprofit organization with a mission to "develop courageous leaders inspired and equipped to protect and advance the ideas of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and economic freedom in their communities and throughout the world." Education Ream received his bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in 1977. He also did graduate work in economics at George Mason University. While at Vanderbilt, Ream received a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship to attend The Fund for American Studies Institute on Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 1976. Walter Judd (politician)
Walter Henry Judd (September 25, 1898 – February 13, 1994), also known as I-te Chou (), was an American politician and physician, best known for his battle in Congress (1943–63) to define the conservative position on China as all-out support for the Nationalists under Chiang Kai-shek and opposition to the Communists under Mao Zedong. After the Nationalists fled to Formosa (Taiwan) in 1949, Judd redoubled his support. Early life and education Judd was born in Rising City, Nebraska, the son of Mary Elizabeth (Greenslit) and Horace Hunter Judd. After training with the ROTC for the United States Army near the end of World War I, he earned his M.D. degree from the University of Nebraska in 1923. Marvin Liebman
Marvin Liebman (July 21, 1923 – March 31, 1997) was an American conservative activist and fundraiser, and later in his life, a gay rights advocate. Early life Liebman was raised in Brooklyn, New York, by his parents, Benjamin "Benny" Liebman and Rose Schorr. His parents were ''Ashkenazim'' (Yiddish-speaking Jews) from Galicia, a region that at the time was part of Poland and is today part of Ukraine. Liebman recalled his youth as growing amid "a polyglot collection of middle class families". He was bar mitzvahed in September 1936. Like many other young people who came of age in the Great Depression, Liebman believed the Depression proved the failure of capitalism, causing him to be interested in communism as an alternative. Charles Edison (August 3, 1890 – July 31, 1969) was an American politician. He was the Assistant and then United States Secretary of the Navy, and served as the 42nd governor of New Jersey. Commonly known as "Lord Edison", he was a son of the inventor Thomas Edison and Mina Miller Edison. Edison was an associate of the John Birch Society, serving as a member of its editorial advisory committee for its publication, ''American Opinion''.
