The Flash (comic Book)
''The Flash'' is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the DC Comics superhero of the Flash (comics), same name. Throughout its publication, the series has primarily focused on two characters who have worn the mantle of the Flash: Barry Allen, the second Flash (1959–1985, 2010–2020), and Wally West, the third Flash (1987–2008, 2021–present). The series began at issue #105, picking up its issue numbering from the anthology series ''Flash Comics'' which had featured Flash (Jay Garrick), Jay Garrick as the first Flash. Although the Flash is a mainstay in the DC Comics stable, the series has been canceled and restarted several times. The first volume, starring Barry Allen, was canceled at issue #350 prior to the character's death in ''Crisis on Infinite Earths''. A new series began in June 1987 with a new issue #1, starring Wally West as the new Flash. Carmine Infantino
Carmine Infantino (; May 24, 1925 – April 4, 2013) was an American comics artist and editing, editor, primarily for DC Comics, during the late 1950s and early 1960s period known as the Silver Age of Comic Books. Among his character creations are the Black Canary and the Barry Allen, Silver Age version of the Flash (DC Comics character), Flash with writer Robert Kanigher, Elongated Man with John Broome (writer), John Broome, the Barbara Gordon incarnation of Batgirl with writer Gardner Fox, Deadman (character), Deadman with writer Arnold Drake, and Christopher Chance, the second iteration of the Human Target, with Len Wein. William Messner-Loebs
William Francis Messner-Loebs (; born William Francis Loebs Jr., February 19, 1949) is an Americans, American comics artist and writer from Michigan, also known as Bill Loebs and Bill Messner-Loebs. His hyphenated surname is a combination of his and his wife Nadine's maiden name, unmarried surnames. In the 1980s and 1990s he wrote runs of series published by DC Comics, Image Comics, Comico: The Comic Company, Comico, and other comics publishers, including DC's superhero series Flash (comics), ''Flash'' and ''Wonder Woman'' among others. Keith Champagne
Keith Champagne (born August 4, 1970) is an American comic artist, who has also moved into writing, and is known for his work at DC Comics. Biography Champagne graduated from Montville High School in Oakdale, Connecticut in 1988, and from the Kubert School in 1994. Champagne began working professionally as a comic book inker during his second year at the Kubert School. Titles he has contributed to (as writer) include: '' JSA'', '' Green Lantern Corps'', and '' World War III''. As an artist/inker, his work has appeared in many titles, most notably ''JSA'', '' Firestorm'', and '' Superboy''. Joey Cavalieri
Joey Cavalieri is an American writer and editor of comic books. He is best known for his work on the characters Green Arrow and Huntress as well as the co-creation of Helena Bertinelli, the third Huntress, for DC Comics. Career Joey Cavalieri attended the School of Visual Arts, graduating with a BFA in Media Arts in 1979. Cavalieri first joined DC Comics full-time in 1982 after working three years as a freelancer. Kathryn Immonen
Kathryn Immonen (; Kuder) is a Canadian comic book and webcomic writer. She has written a number of comic books for Marvel Comics since 2007, in collaboration with her husband Stuart. Biography In 2007 Immonen began working for Marvel Comics writing a Hellcat story, with Stuart providing the art, for the first four issues of ''Marvel Comics Presents''. This was followed in 2008 by a five issue ''Patsy Walker: Hellcat'' mini-series, this time with artist David Lafuente. Brian Augustyn (November 2, 1954 – February 1, 2022) was an American comic book editor and writer. He often worked as editor or co-writer with writer Mark Waid, such as on ''The Flash'' in the 1990s.
