''The Duke'' is the fourth studio album by Jørn Lande's solo project Jorn. The album features Jørn Lande's collaboration with two guitarists Jørn Viggo Lofstad and Tore Moren for the first time together. The two had worked with Jorn before, although separately. While Moren played on '' Worldchanger'', Lofstad played on '' Out to Every Nation''. The album also features former TNT and Vagabond bassist Morty Black, and former The Snakes drummer Willy Bendiksen. Jorn (band)
Jorn is a Norwegian hard rock and metal band fronted by vocalist Jørn Lande. Other members include guitarists Tore Moren and Adrian SB, Alessandro Del Vecchio on keyboards, bassist Øyvind Strønen and drummer Francesco Jovino. The band was established in 2000 by Lande and the debut album '' Starfire'' was released the same year. For the 25 years annaversary in 2025, JORN had 15 studio abums and 3 live alubum released. Live they have done multiple tours and festival-apperances. The band is active touring and working on new material. John Macaluso
John Macaluso is an American drummer who has played for bands such as Ark, TNT, and Yngwie Malmsteen. Born in Commack, New York, Macaluso started playing drums at age 11. He has recorded over 200 records and played in multiple world tours. He also runs clinics and teaches others. Ark (Norwegian Band)
ARK was a progressive metal band from Norway founded by guitarist Tore Østby ( Conception, D. C. Cooper, Frankie's Playground, Redrum) and drummer John Macaluso (TNT, Riot, Spread Eagle, Alex Masi, Yngwie Malmsteen, Powermad), who later joined up with singer Jørn Lande to record two albums. Lande, Østby and Macaluso were joined by Randy Coven (Steve Vai, Steve Morse) on bass and Mats Olausson (Yngwie Malmsteen) on keyboards for their second effort. William Scott Gorham (born March 17, 1951) is an American guitarist and songwriter who is one of the "twin lead guitarists" for the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. Although not a founding member of Thin Lizzy, he served a continuous membership after passing an audition in 1974, joining the band at a time when the band's future was in doubt after the departures of original guitarist Eric Bell and his brief replacement Gary Moore. Gorham remained with Thin Lizzy until the band's breakup in 1983. Brian Michael Downey (born 27 January 1951) is an Irish drummer. He was a founding member of the rock band Thin Lizzy and the only other constant in the band aside from leader Phil Lynott until their disbandment in 1983.
