The Curse Of The Mummy's Tomb
''The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb'' is a 1964 British horror film produced, written and directed by Michael Carreras, starring Terence Morgan, Ronald Howard, Fred Clark and Jeanne Roland. Plot "Egypt in the year 1900". The mummy of Ra-Antef, son of Ramesses VIII, is discovered by three Egyptologists: Englishmen John Bray and Sir Giles Dalrymple, and French Professor Eugene Dubois. Assisting in the expedition is Dubois' daughter, and Bray's fiancée, Annette, herself an Egyptology expert. All the artifacts are brought back to London by the project's backer, American showman Alexander King, who plans to recoup his investment by staging luridly sensational public exhibits of the Egyptian treasures. Michael Carreras
Michael Henry Carreras (21 December 1927 – 19 April 1994) was a British film producer and director. He was known for his association with Hammer Films, being the son of founder James Carreras, and taking an executive role in the company during its most successful years. As producer, he worked on '' The Curse of Frankenstein'' (1957), ''Dracula'' (1958) and '' The Curse of the Werewolf'' (1960) and '' She'' (1965) among over sixty other films. He also wrote a smaller number of screenplays. He later turned to directing, with '' The Savage Guns / Tierra brutal'' (1961), '' Maniac'' (1963), '' The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb'' (1964), '' Slave Girls'' (1967), '' The Lost Continent'' (1968) and '' Shatter'' (1975) among others. Marianne Stone (23 August 1922 – 21 December 2009) was an English character actress. She performed in films from the early 1940s to the late 1980s, typically playing working class parts such as barmaids, secretaries and landladies. Jimmy Gardner (actor)
Edward Charles James Gardner, DFM (24 August 1924 – 3 May 2010) was an English actor. During World War II, Gardner served in the Royal Air Force as an air gunner with No. 10 Squadron. He completed 30 sorties as a Halifax rear gunner and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal. His first film appearance was in '' The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb'' released during 1964. Thereafter he appeared in over 30 films and also made extensive TV and theatre appearances. Harold Goodwin (22 October 1917 – 3 June 2004) was an English actor born in Wombwell, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. Michael George Ripper (27 January 1913 – 28 June 2000) was an English character actor who appeared in many British horror and science fiction films. Career Ripper began his film career in quota quickies in the 1930s and until the late 1950s was virtually unknown; he was seldom credited. Along with Michael Gough he played one of the two murderers in Laurence Olivier's film version of ''Richard III'' (1955).
