''The Chaser's Media Circus'' is an Australian television comedy quiz show which was broadcast on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) television station ABC. The series was produced by the Australian satirical group, The Chaser, consisting of Chris Taylor, Julian Morrow, Craig Reucassel, Andrew Hansen and Chas Licciardello. The show was a panel-like game and quiz show, with contestants using their knowledge about current media events to win. It was hosted by Craig Reucassel and featured Chas Licciardello interjecting occasionally with 'fact-checks'. The Chaser team members Chris Taylor, Julian Morrow and Andrew Hansen appeared as contestants. Waleed Aly (born 15 August 1978) is an Australian television presenter, journalist, academic, and lawyer. Aly is a lecturer in politics at Monash University working in their Global Terrorism Research Centre, and a co-host of Network Ten's news and current affairs television program '' The Project''. He also writes for Fairfax Media, co-hosts ''The Minefield'', an ABC RN program about ethical dilemmas of modern life, and is lead guitarist in rock band Robot Child. Kirsten Kathleen Drysdale (born 1984) is an Australian television presenter and journalist. Drysdale was born and raised in Mackay, Queensland. Before beginning her career at the ABC, Drysdale worked for a production company in Brisbane that produced documentaries and multimedia for museums and exhibitions. During this time, she was also pursuing a sporting career, playing hockey for the Queensland Scorchers.
