The Authority (comics)
''The Authority'' is a superhero comic book series published by DC Comics under the Wildstorm imprint. It was created in 1999 by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch, and follows the adventures of the Authority, a superhero team mainly composed of Ellis-created characters from '' Stormwatch''. The team will appear in various media set in the DC Universe (DCU) media franchise. Angela Spica / Engineer will appear in the upcoming film ''Superman'' (2025) portrayed by María Gabriela de Faría, while the team will additionally headline a self-titled film in development. Vincent Patrick Deighan (born January 18, 1968), better known by the pen name Frank Quitely, is a Scottish people, Scottish comic book artist. DC Universe (franchise)
The DC Universe (DCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe based on characters from DC Comics publications. It was created by James Gunn and Peter Safran, co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios. Gary Erskine
Gary Erskine is a Scottish comic book artist. Career Born in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Paisley near Glasgow in 1968, Erskine grew up in Rutherglen and attended Burnside Primary and Stonelaw High School. Fellow comic artist Frank Quitely (Vincent Deighan) is the same age and from the same town, but they attended different schools and did not work together in their youth. He started drawing work for fanzines while at art college and aspired to be a comic book artist. After sending samples of his work to Marvel UK he was eventually given ''Knights of Pendragon'' to draw on a regular basis in 1988. Arthur Adams (born April 5, 1963) is an American comics artist, comic book artist and writer. Dustin Nguyen (born 1976) is a comic book artist. He has worked for DC Comics and WildStorm since 2000. He is currently the artist on his and Jeff Lemire's creator-owned Image Comics series, ''Descender'', for which he won the 2016 Eisner Award for Best Painter/Multimedia Artist. Tom Peyer (born February 23, 1954) is an American comic book creator and editing, editor. He is known for his 1999 revisioning of Golden Age of Comics, Golden Age super-hero Hourman, as well as his work on the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 1990s. A pastiche () is a work of visual art, literature, theatre, music, or architecture that imitates the style or character of the work of one or more other artists.
