"That's How Strong My Love Is" is a song written by Roosevelt Jamison and first recorded in 1964 by deep soul singer O. V. Wright. The song is a soulful love ballad and has been cover version, covered many times, most notably in 1965 by Otis Redding, with Redding's cover reaching no.18 on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' R&B chart and no.74 on the US Hot 100, pop chart. The Hollies
The Hollies are an English rock and pop band formed in Manchester in 1962. One of the leading British groups of the 1960s and into the mid-1970s, they are known for their distinctive three-part vocal harmony style. Singer Allan Clarke and rhythm guitarist/singer Graham Nash founded the band as a Merseybeat-type group in Manchester, although some of the band members came from towns further north, in east Lancashire. ''Eat It'' is the sixth album by English rock band Humble Pie, released in April 1973 through A&M Records. Released as a double album, it peaked at number 13 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, number 34 in the UK Albums Chart, and number 9 in Australia. Background Steve Marriott had been talking to the group about having backing singers from early on. During the recording of ''Eat It'', he had been in touch with Venetta Fields and asked her to find two other women to help her out. Humble Pie are an English rock band formed by Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton in Moreton, Essex, in 1969. The Sweet Inspirations are an American R&B girl group from Newark, New Jersey, founded by Cissy Houston who are mostly known for their work as backup singers on studio recordings for other R&B and rock artists but who are also a Grammy-nominated recording act in their own right.
