Australia's Matthew Ebden and John Peers defeated the United States' Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram in the final, 6–7(6–8), 7–6(7–1), 0–8to win the gold medal in men's doubles tennis at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Pavić is one of only six men to complete the Career Golden Slam in doubles. Nikola Mektić (born 24 December 1988) is a Croatian professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2021 Wimbledon Championships in men's doubles partnering compatriot Mate Pavić, and the 2020 Australian Open with Barbora Krejčíková in mixed doubles.
