Riikka Hakkarainen (born 23 May 1977) is a Finnish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour between 1998 and 2011. She won the 2006 Tenerife Ladies Open. Amateur career Hakkarainen was born in Espoo, Finland, and played for the Finnish National Ladies Team from the age of 15. Randpark Golf Club is a golf club in South Africa. Background The club was founded 1940. It is located in Randpark, South Africa, a suburb of Johannesburg. The club has three courses: Bushwillow, Firethorn, and Creek 9. Bushwillow, then named Windsor 12, was completed in 1946. It was significantly renovated in 1952 by Bob Grimsdell. Firethorn was designed by Sid Brews. It opened in 1971. Firethorn is known to be the hardest course on the property. Cobie Legrange worked as Randpark's club professional for many years. Ashleigh Ann Buhai (née Simon, born 11 May 1989) is a South African professional golfer, who won the 2022 Women's Open, one of the major championships in women's golf. Laurette Maritz
Laurette Maritz (born 13 January 1964) is a South African professional golfer. She won three titles on the Ladies European Tour between 1988 and 1990, and was LET Rookie of the Year in 1988. Early life and amateur career Maritz grew up in Johannesburg and started playing golf when she was 11. Consumed by the sport, she quit high school after the 11th grade. Playing on the South African National Team, she won tournaments in Europe, and she was thinking about turning professional. After meeting LPGA Tour player Sally Little in 1983 she accepted a golf scholarship to United States International University in San Diego, where she earned All-American honors four times and a BA in Physical Education.
