Tegan And Sara
Tegan and Sara () are a Canadian indie pop duo formed in 1998 in Calgary, Alberta. The band is led by identical twin sisters, Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin (born September 19, 1980). Both musicians are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. The duo has released ten studio albums and earned a Grammy nomination in 2012 for their video album ''Get Along''. Their most recent album, ''Crybaby'', was released on October 21, 2022. ''Crybaby'' is the tenth studio album by Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara, released via Mom + Pop Music on October 21, 2022. It is their first full-length studio album release since 2019's '' Hey, I'm Just Like You''. Background Tegan and Sara wrote the majority of the songs for the album in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, during production and script writing for the then-upcoming TV series ''High School'', based on their 2019 memoir of the same name, Tegan and Sara entered the studio with producer John Congleton to record demos of "I Can't Grow Up" and "All I Wanted". ''So Jealous'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara, released on September 14, 2004. It is their third album on Vapor Records. The album went gold in Canada and was nominated for a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. Two singles were released, "Walking with a Ghost" and "Speak Slow", with videos for each. Officially, it is their second release through Vapor Records, though they independently released ''Under Feet Like Ours'' in 1999. ''If It Was You'' was recorded on Galiano Island and the Factory Studio, with the exception of the track "And Darling (This Thing That Breaks My Heart)", which was recorded at Tegan's house.
