Team Picnic PostNL is a professional cycling team based in the Netherlands, which competes in elite road bicycle racing events such as the UCI Women's World Tour. The team is managed by Iwan Spekenbrink. The title sponsors of the team are online supermarket and the Dutch mail, parcel and e-commerce company PostNL. History 2011 2012 2013 The team's first overall General classification victory came in the Ladies Tour of Qatar, where Kirsten Wild won the overall classification, points classification and three stages. Amy Pieters (born 1 June 1991) is a Dutch professional road and track cyclist, who is contracted to ride for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She was a member of the Dutch team that finished sixth at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the team pursuit (together with Ellen van Dijk, Kirsten Wild and Vera Koedooder). On 23 December 2021, Pieters was placed in an induced coma and underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain caused by a fall that day during a training ride near Alicante with the Dutch national track team. After being repatriated to the Netherlands the following month, Pieters had regained consciousness in April but, due to the brain injury sustained, doctors were unsure of her "residual symptoms and remaining abilities". Marta Cavalli (born 18 March 1998) is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . In 2018, she won the Italian National Road Race Championships. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in the road race – finishing 8th overall. In 2022, Cavalli won two of the Ardennes classics – Amstel Gold Race and La Flèche Wallonne Féminine. She then finished second at Giro Donne. In July 2022, she was named as one of the pre-race favourites for the first edition of the Tour de France Femmes, however Cavalli crashed heavily on stage 2 and had to abandon the race.
