Tašmajdan Sports And Recreation Center
Tašmajdan Sports and Recreation Center (; abbr. Tašmajdan SRC, ), commonly known simply as Taš ( sr-Cyr, Таш), is a sporting and recreational center located in the city of Belgrade, Serbia. It was founded by the Assembly of the City of Belgrade in 1958. At within the center located of the outdoor Tašmajdan Stadium, the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, the Pionir Ice Hall and a complex of outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Tašmajdan Stadium Construction of the stadium began in 1952. Built with white stone from Brač island, and opened on 24 January 1954, by mid 2000s the stadium began showing signs of structural deterioration. Architect Mihajlo Janković, was awarded the Belgrade's October award for architecture, the highest city award at the time, for the Tašmajdan project. Neda Arnerić
Neda Arnerić ( sr-cyr, Неда Арнерић; 15 July 1953 – 10 January 2020) was a Serbian film, stage and television actress, and politician. A graduate art historian, she was considered a sex symbol of Yugoslav cinematography. Personal life Neda Arnerić was born in Knjaževac. Her mother was an ethnic Serbs, Serb, whilst her father was an ethnic Croats of Serbia, Croat, who worked as military doctor, born on the island of Korčula. Her grandfather was from Rovinj, where she often spent summers. In 1980 she graduated from the University of Belgrade University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy with a degree in Art History. In 1981 she married Serbian physician, Milorad Mešterović, who died in December 2018. They had no children. Zoran Kostić (musician)
Zoran Kostić (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Костић; born 17 August 1964 in Belgrade) widely known by his nickname Cane () is a Serbian rock musician, known primarily as the leader and vocalist for Serbian punk rock group Partibrejkers. Early years Kostić was born in 1964 to parents Slobodan and Mirjana. He is related to Gavrilo Princip (Gavrilo's mother and his great grandfather were biological siblings). Growing up near the Ušće area of New Belgrade, he founded his first band in 1979, at the age of 15 - a group called Kopilad (''Bastards''). FINA World Aquatics Championships
The World Aquatics Championships, formerly the FINA World Championships, are the World Championships for six aquatic disciplines: swimming, diving, high diving, open water swimming, artistic swimming, and water polo. The championships are staged by World Aquatics, formerly known as ''FINA'' (''Fédération internationale de natation''), the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competitions in water sports. Luis Miguel González Lucas (9 November 1926 – 8 May 1996), better known as Luis Miguel Dominguín, was a bullfighter from Spain and the son of the noteworthy bullfighter, Domingo Dominguín. Dominguín adopted his father's name to gain popularity. Early career Dominguín made his first public appearance in the ring at the age of eleven. He became a matador in 1941. The Zastava 750 (Застава 750) is a supermini made by the Yugoslav car maker Zavod Crvena Zastava in Kragujevac. It was a version of the Fiat 600 made under licence from 1962 and was somewhat longer than the Fiat version. The Zastava 750 has a engine, which produces . The more powerful 750 SE has at 5400 rpm and torque is at 3600 rpm. It is the smallest car ever made by Zastava. Later on during production, in 1980, the Zastava 850 was introduced. It is nearly identical to the Zastava 750 but the engine had a larger capacity. The Zastava 850 is harder to find than the 750 model but both are still widely available in former Yugoslavia. Ray Charles Robinson (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004) was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist.
