Tariq Aziz (, , 28 April 1936 – 5 June 2015) was an Iraq, Iraqi politician who served as the Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq from 1979 to 2003 and Minister of Foreign Affairs (Iraq), Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1983 to 1991. He was a close advisor of President of Iraq, President Saddam Hussein. Additionally, Aziz was a member of the Revolutionary Command Council and the Regional Command of the Iraqi Branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party – Iraq Region, Ba'ath Party. Tariq Aziz (born 9 September 1974) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Portugal cricket team. He played five first-class matches for Hyderabad in the 1999/00 season. In August 2018, he represented Portugal in Group A of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier tournament. In Portugal's second match, against France, he was named as the player of the match, after taking three wickets and scoring 48 runs. Tariq Aziz (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ; 28 April 1936 – 17 June 2020) was a Pakistan Television, Pakistani television host, poet, film actor, and politician known for PTV Home, PTV's quiz show ''Bazm E Tariq Aziz , Nilaam Ghar'', first aired in 1974, later renamed the ''Tariq Aziz Show'' and lately as ''Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz''. Dr Tariq Aziz (Urdu: طارق عزیز; born 5 February 1938) is a Pakistani former field hockey player. He won a Gold medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, and a Silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Aziz was born in Amritsar, British India. Education Aziz graduated from CVS, Lahore, Pakistan in 1959 and did his masters (M.Sc.) from the University of Agriculture (Faisalabad) in 1966. Career He joined the University of Agriculture (Faisalabad), as instructor in 1962 and retired as professor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
