Tandula River
The Tandula River runs through the Balod and Durg districts of the state of Chhattisgarh in India, allowing villages in the district to use its water for irrigation. It originates from Bhanupratappur district, Kanker, Chhattisgarh. It flows to the Tandula Dam near Balod, which supplies water for the local Bhilai Steel Plant. Balod District
Balod district is a district within the state of Chhattisgarh. Its headquarters are in Balod. It has a District & Sessions Court which was inaugurated on 2 October 2013 by Shri Justice Sunil Kumar Sinha. Shri Deepak Kumar Tiwari joined as the first District & Sessions Judge at Balod. Durg district is a district situated in Chhattisgarh, India. The district headquarters is Durg. The district covers an area of 2,238 km². As of 2011 it is the second most populous district of Chhattisgarh (out of Districts of Chhattisgarh, 18), after Raipur district, Raipur. The district is home to two important religious sites.
