Taichung TRA Station
Taichung station () is a railway station in Taichung, Taichung, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railway (TR). It is served by all TR services on the Western Trunk line. History The station was originally constructed in 1905 in a wooden building architectural style and started its operation in 1908. In 1917, it was rebuilt as a red brick structure with Renaissance architectural style. On 16 October 2016, the elevated station was inaugurated in which the ground-level station was shut down. The first train that arrived at the elevated station was at 06:28. The Taichung Confucian Temple () is a Confucian temple in North District, Taichung, Taiwan. History The construction of the temple began in 1972 and completed in 1976. National Chung Hsing University (NCHU; ; lit. National Resurgence University) is a comprehensive research university in South District, Taichung, Taiwan. Jiji Station
Jiji () is a railway station on the Taiwan Railways Administration Jiji line located in Jiji Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. History The station was opened for operation on 14 January 1922 during Japanese rule which was mostly used for transporting materials to the nearby power plant. The station relocated to its current location on 2 February 1930. The station was severely damaged in the 1999 Jiji earthquake (921 earthquake) on 21 September 1999 and was reconstructed in 2001. Tainan () is a railway station in Tainan, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways Administration. Situated in centre of the old town square in the East District of Tainan, Tainan Station is the main station of the city and also one of the major stations along the western trunk line in Taiwan. The Shalun line, opened in 2011, allows through services to link the station with THSR Tainan Station. Overview The station has one island platform and one side platform. The current station structure opened on 15 March 1936, which included a hotel on the second floor (the only station of its kind in Taiwan). Changhua () is a railway station in Changhua City, Changhua County, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways. It is located at the southern junction of the Taichung line and Coastal line, where the line continues onto the southern section of the West Coast line. Houli () is a railway station on the Taiwan Railways Administration Taichung line located in Houli District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is the teminus of most of local trains originating from Chaozhou railway station. It has two platforms used by trains and another unused platform rarely used by railway maintenance vehicles and trains.
