Ta'ang Land Council
The Ta'ang Land Council (TLC) is the highest political governing body to oversee executive, legislative, and judicial functions within the territories controlled by the Palaung State Liberation Front (PSLF) and its armed wing, the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA). Palaung State Liberation Front
The Palaung State Liberation Front (; abbreviated PSLF) is a political organization and armed group in Myanmar. Its armed wing is the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA). History The PSLF has its origins in the Palaung National Front (PNF), a Ta’ang armed group that was founded in 1963. In 1976, a PNF leader, Mai Kwan Tong, broke away with the support of the Kachin Independence Organisation (KIO) and formed the Palaung State Liberation Organisation/Palaung State Liberation Army (PSLO/PSLA), which quickly upstaged the PNF. The PSLA then waged a guerrilla war against the armed forces of the Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma. Wa State

United Wa State Army
The United Wa State Army ( Parauk: , zh, s=佤邦联合军, t=佤邦聯合軍, p=Wǎbāng Liánhéjūn; , ), abbreviated as the UWSA or the UWS Army, is the military wing of the United Wa State Party (UWSP), the ''de facto'' ruling party of Wa State (officially known as the Wa Self-Administered Division) in Myanmar. It is a well-equipped ethnic minority army of an estimated 20,000–30,000 Wa soldiers, led by Bao Youxiang. Pangkham (; zh, c=邦康, p=Bāngkāng; Parauk: ), known before 1999 as Panghsang ( Parauk: , ), is a border town in Myanmar's far eastern Shan State. It is situated at a bend on the Hka River near the border with Yunnan Province, China, opposite of the town of Menglian. Pangkham is the main town of Pangsang Township of Matman District of Shan State. It has hotels, shops, a supermarket, karaoke bars, a bowling alley, and a 24-hour casino. Ta'ang Political Consultative Committee
The Palaung ( ; , also written as Benglong Palong) or Ta'ang (တအာင်း) are one of the ancient Austroasiatic ethnic groups found in Shan State of Myanmar (Burma), Yunnan Province of China and Northern Thailand. In China, they are referred to as the De'ang people. The majority of population lives mainly in the northern parts of northern Shan State in the Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone, with the capital at Namhsan. The Ta'ang (Palaung) State Liberation Army, the armed wing of the Palaung ethnic group, began fighting against the Burmese military in 1963. Kutkai
Kutkai ( ''kwat hkuing'' ) is the capital of Kutkai District and seat of Kutkai Township, in northern Shan State of eastern Myanmar. It lies along National Highway 3, approximately 24 kilometres to the north of Lashio. History In the early 20th century, the area around Kutkai was explored by British botanists. In 1912, Stephenson documented that he had found the earthworm species '' Pheretima molesta'' of the genus Pheretima in Katkai.
