The New York City Teachers Union or "TU" (1916–1964) was the first New York labor union for teachers, formed as "AFT Local 5" of the American Federation of Teachers, which found itself hounded throughout its history due largely to co-membership of many of its members in the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). TU Media Corp. was South Korea's first mobile broadcast service company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Its name stood for "TV for you." It was established in 2003 as a subsidiary of SK Telecom. Tu (cuneiform)
The cuneiform sign tu, and for TU-(the Sumerogram, capital letter (majuscule), in the Hittite language and other cuneiform texts, is a common-use syllabic sign for ''tu'', and also with a syllabic use for ''"t"'', or ''"u"''. It is not a multi-use sign, with other alphabetic sub-varieties. The Union of Salaried Employees (TU, , ) was a trade union in Finland. With 125,000 members, TU was a major trade union for workers in industry and industrial services, technics, economy and information. The union was established in 2001, when the Union of Technical Employees merged with the Finnish Industrial and Clerical Employees' Union, the Construction and Engineering Union, and the Swedish Union of Technicians and Foremen.
