Apple T2
The Apple T2 (Apple's internal name is T8012) security chip is a system on a chip (SoC) tasked with providing security and controller features to Apple's Intel based Macintosh computers. It is a 64-bit ARMv8 chip and runs bridgeOS. T2 has its own RAM and is essentially a special embedded controller of its own, running in parallel to and responding to requests by the main computer that the user interacts with. Design The main application processor in T2 is a variant of the Apple A10, which is a 64-bit ARMv8.1-A based CPU. It is manufactured by TSMC on their 16 nm process, just as the A10. Analysis of the die reveals a nearly identical CPU macro as the A10 which reveals a four core design for its main application processor, with two large high performance cores, "Hurricane", and two smaller efficiency cores, "Zephyr". UltraSPARC T2
Sun Microsystems' UltraSPARC T2 microprocessor is a multithreading, multi-core CPU. It is a member of the SPARC family, and the successor to the UltraSPARC T1. The chip is sometimes referred to by its codename, Niagara 2. Sun started selling servers with the T2 processor in October 2007. New features The T2 is a commodity derivative of the UltraSPARC series of microprocessors, targeting Internet workloads in computers, storage and networking devices. The processor, manufactured in 65 nm, is available with eight CPU cores, and each core is able to handle eight threads concurrently. Thus the processor is capable of processing up to 64 concurrent threads. Portland Timbers 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Portland, Oregon. The team, often referred to as "T2", serves as the reserve squad for the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer (MLS). The team was a member of the USL Championship from 2015 to 2019, and was in the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid beginning in 2016. The organization withdrew from the 2021 USL Championship season so it could better transfer players to its parent club during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reserves are now part of MLS reserve league MLS Next Pro. History The Timbers announced the formation of their USL Pro team at a press conference on October 14, 2014. The T2 SDE (System Development Environment) is an open source Linux distribution kit. It is primarily developed by René Rebe. History ROCK Linux was started in the summer of 1996 by Claire Wolf. T2 (band)
T2 were an English progressive rock band, best known for their 1970 album, '' It'll All Work Out in Boomland''. Origins T2 evolved from an earlier band, Neon Pearl, which was led by their drummer, Pete Dunton. Dunton was by 1968 a member of Please, which also included fellow Neon Pearl member Bernard Jinks. When that band broke up in 1969, due to Dunton's joining Gun alongside Adrian Gurvitz, Jinks became a member of Bulldog Breed. Career T2 was formed when Dunton reunited with bassist Jinks and late period Bulldog Breed guitarist, Keith Cross. The trio played a form of psychedelic or proto-prog rock, which was similar in content to that played by the earlier bands its members had been in. T2 (born Tafadzwa Tawonezvi) (born May 1988) is a British record producer. His single " Heartbroken", featuring Jodie Aysha, hit No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified platinum by the BPI in 2022. T2 rewrote the lyrics of the tune late in 2007, in support of Ricky Hatton's boxing match against Floyd Mayweather. In 2008, T2 teamed up with Addictive to release "Gonna Be Mine". Pebble (formerly T2) was an American social media platform founded by former Twitter employees Sarah Oh and Gabor Cselle. It provided an authenticated network where users could make posts and interact in communities before shutting down on 1 November 2023. One day before the shutdown, Cselle launched a Mastodon instance of the same name. It closely resembles the look and feel of the old site. T2 Temporal Prover
T2 Temporal Prover is an automated program analyzer developed in the ''Terminator'' research project at Microsoft Research. Overview T2 aims to find whether a program can run infinitely (called a termination analysis). It supports nested loops and recursive functions, pointers and side-effects, and function-pointers as well as concurrent programs. Like all programs for termination analysis it tries to solve the halting problem for particular cases, since the general problem is undecidable.
