San Marino participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, held in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Sammarinese national broadcaster Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino (SMRTV) confirmed the country's second participation in the contest on 22 November 2010, marking their return after not participating in and . Italian singer Senhit Zadik Zadik, under the stage name Senit, was internally selected by SMRTV to represent San Marino with the song "Stand By". The entry was promoted through the creation of a music video, a promotional tour throughout Europe and an interview to the press in the lead up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. 2019 Cricket World Cup Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony of the Cricket World Cup 2019 took place on 29 May 2019, at The Mall in central London. The ICC promised that the opening ceremony would be the ''‘most celebrated start to a Cricket World Cup ever’''. The ceremony included live sport, music and entertainment for a planned 4,000 fans. Cricket journalist Andy Bull estimated that "there cannot have been many more than 400" fans actually present, which he ascribed in part to heavy rain. Sanjay Surkar (19 August 1959 27 September 2012) was a Marathi film director. He won three National Film Awards for the films ''Rao Saheb'' (1996), ''Tu Tithe Mee'' (1998) and ''Gharabaher'' (1999) in Best Feature Film in Marathi category. Along with films, Surkar had also worked in television and theatre. Early life Surkar was born on 19 August 1959 at Deoli in Wardha district of Maharashtra state. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from G. S. Commerce College in 1983. From the Nagpur University he took his bachelor's degree and Masters in Fine Arts specialising in Dramatics.
