The Sri Damansara Sentral MRT station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station in the suburb of Bandar Sri Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Putrajaya line. The station begin operations on 16 June 2022 as part of ''Phase One'' operations of the line. Petaling District
The Petaling District is a district located in the heart of Selangor in Malaysia. Petaling is not to be confused with the city of Petaling Jaya located in it, nor the ''mukim'' of Petaling under Petaling Jaya City. The district office is located in Subang. The district of Petaling was established on 1 February 1974, the same day Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. Menjalara is a major township in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located between Kepong and Sri Damansara. Menjalara is situated adjacent to Bukit Maluri. It was named after Paduka Seri Cik Menjalara (Makche Menjalara), the mother of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. It was called as Edinburgh Estate before its establishment in 1980s. Menjalara is located adjacent to the highway Damansara–Puchong Expressway. Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2 or Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 Scheme), Federal Route 28, is a ring road built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to connect neighborhoods near the boundary of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Altogether, the of the entire system consists of Federal Route 28, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (from Sri Damansara Interchange to Sunway Interchange) and Shah Alam Expressway (from Sunway Interchange to Sri Petaling Interchange). The MRT Putrajaya Line is the second Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Klang Valley, Malaysia, and the third fully automated and driverless rail system in region.
