Special Adviser (Norway)
A special adviser or special advisor ( nb, spesialrådgiver; nn, spesialrådgjevar) is a high-ranking civil servant in the Norwegian civil service with rank code (''stillingskode'') 1220 in the Norwegian state. The Ministry of Finance has stated that special advisers belong to the "highest career level" in government departments. Special advisers may be highly qualified experts or people with high-level experience from the government service, including former top executives of government agencies. The title is used in government departments, where special advisers are the single most highly paid category. The rank is also used in other parts of the civil service, including directorates and health trusts. Ann-Marit Sæbønes
Ann-Marit Sæbønes (born 11 December 1945) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She was born in Porsgrunn. She worked as a physiotherapist in Norway and Kenya from 1969 to 1979, and studied sociology at the University of Oslo in 1979. Joakim Lystad
Joakim Theodor Haagaas Lystad (born 17 April 1953) is a Norwegian civil servant. He served as the first Director-General of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority from 2003 to 2010, building the organization. From 2010 to 2015, he was the Labour and Welfare Director of Norway, i.e. the head of the Labour and Welfare Service and the Labour and Welfare Administration and responsible for a third of the state budget of Norway. Harald Rensvik (born 4 March 1946) is a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Arendal, and grew up in Ålesund and Valdres. He graduated as a siv.ing from the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Georg Fredrik Rieber-Mohn
Georg Fredrik Rieber-Mohn (born 13 August 1945) is a Norwegian judge. He was born in Lillehammer, and graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Oslo in 1969. He worked as a secretary from 1969, and as a prison administrator from 1971. In 1974 he was hired in the Ministry of Justice and the Police as a researcher. After a period as auxiliary judge from 1975 to 1976 and district attorney from 1976 to 1980, both in Stavanger, he returned to the Ministry of Justice in 1980 as deputy under-secretary of State. In 1985 he left to be a presiding judge in Eidsivating. In 1986 he was appointed as Norwegian Director of Public Prosecutions, as the youngest to date.
