''Songs of Life'' is the debut solo studio album by Bret Michaels, lead singer of the rock band Poison. The album was released April 22, 2003 and coincides with the same date of his two-year-old daughter Raine's birthday. The album is written and produced by Bret Michaels, Cliff Calabro and co-produced by Jeremy Rubolino. The music is inspired by events from Bret Michael's life. Content The Poison style rock album features thirteen new tracks including the first single of the album "Raine", a song dedicated to his daughter Raine Elizabeth Sychak born on May 20, 2000. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. ''A Letter from Death Row'' is a soundtrack album by Bret Michaels, the lead singer of the rock band Poison. The album was released August 25, 1998, and is the soundtrack to the movie '' A Letter from Death Row'' which Bret Michaels wrote, directed and starred in. Max T. Barnes worked as an engineer on the project which also featured guest musicians including Poison band members. Content The album features 13 new songs. The singles include the album titled track "A Letter from Death Row" and "Party Rock Band" which features C.C. DeVille on lead guitar. The recording of "Party Rock Band" was the first time Bret Michaels and C.C. DeVille played together since 1991 when Poison parted ways with C.C. DeVille. This recording eventually led to the reunion of the original Poison lineup. ''Freedom of Sound'' is the second solo studio album by Bret Michaels, lead singer of the rock band Poison. It is a country rock album released in 2005, the same year Bret Michaels was a judge on the country music reality tv show ''Nashville Star''. Content The album features fourteen new tracks and four previously released songs (bonus tracks) from his first two studio albums. Shane Stanley (born June 15, 1971 in Encino, Los Angeles) is a filmmaker and founder of Visual Arts Entertainment, a film and television production company based in Los Angeles. He is best known for producing '' Gridiron Gang'' starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for Sony Pictures and directing Bret Michaels's music videos.
