Search (band)
Search are a rock band formed in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, in 1977 by drummer Yazit, lead guitarist Hillary Ang, bassist Nasir, rhythm guitarist Nordin and singer Amy. Their debut album was produced by Polygram Records (Singapore). The group have gone through many line-up changes in their career, but the songs and music have remained strong and unique among Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian fans. To date, they've released eleven studio albums, number of lives, compilation and joint (with Wings) albums. They've been regarded by Malaysian rock fans as the greatest rock band in Malaysia with their numerous hits along with rock anthems. A search engine is a software system designed to carry out web searches. They search the World Wide Web in a systematic way for particular information specified in a textual web search query. The search results are generally presented in a line of results, often referred to as search engine results pages (SERPs). When a user enters a query into a search engine, the engine scans its index of web pages to find those that are relevant to the user's query. The results are then ranked by relevancy and displayed to the user. The information may be a mix of links to web pages, images, videos, infographics, articles, research papers, and other types of files. ''Marauder'' is the fifth studio album of Southern rock band Blackfoot, released in 1981. The album continued in the same vein as their previous successes, '' Strikes'' (1979) and ''Tomcattin''' (1980). Opening up with the heavy "Good Morning", and including the ballad "Diary of a Workingman", ''Marauder'' also sported the hit "Fly Away", which reached No. 42, and another Shorty Medlocke appearance on the "Rattlesnake Rock n' Roller", this time with a spoken introduction and banjo solo. Searching (1952-1973) was an American Hall of Fame Thoroughbred racemare. Foaled at Claiborne Farm near Paris, Kentucky where the Wheatley Stable (founded in 1926 by Gladys Mills Phipps and her brother, Ogden L. Mills) bred and raised its horses. After the Second World War, Gladys's son Ogden Phipps purchased a number of horses from the estate of Colonel Edward R. Bradley and his Idle Hour Stock Farm. Among them was the good racing mare Big Hurry. Phipps bred Big Hurry (the racing daughter of Bradley’s favorite stallion, Black Toney, out of Bradley’s broodmare La Troienne) to the fourth winner of the U.S. Triple Crown Champion, War Admiral. From this match came a bay filly he named Searching. Searching raced poorly in her first 20 starts under Hall of Fame trainer James E. ''Searching'' is a 2018 mystery thriller film directed by Aneesh Chaganty in his feature debut, written by Chaganty and Sev Ohanian and produced by Timur Bekmambetov. Set entirely on computer screens and smartphones, the film follows a father (John Cho) trying to find his missing 16-year-old daughter (Michelle La) with the help of a police detective (Debra Messing). This was the first mainstream Hollywood thriller headlined by an Asian-American actor. Gay Search is a British television presenter and journalist. She worked on the BBC television series ''Gardeners' World'' with Geoff Hamilton, and on the series ''Front Gardens''. Abhay Bang and Rani Bang are Indian activists and community health researchers working in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, India. Together, they have overseen a programme that has substantially reduced infant mortality rates, one which has been endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF and is now being rolled out across India and in parts of Africa. Abhay and Rani Bang also founded the non-profit Society For Education, Action and Research in Community Health (SEARCH), which is involved in rural health service and research.
