Salut D'Amour (film)
''Salut d'Amour'' (; lit. "Jang-soo's Mart" or "Jang-soo's Store") is a 2015 South Korean romance dramedy film starring Park Geun-hyung and Youn Yuh-jung and directed by Kang Je-gyu. Plot Sung-chil is a grumpy 70-year-old man who lives alone and works part-time at the local supermarket. Jang-soo, owner of the supermarket and president of the city's redevelopment project, has been trying in vain to get Sung-chil's signature (he's the last hold-out and the only reason for the project's delay), but Sung-chil stubbornly refuses any change to his lifestyle. Then he meets his new neighbor Geum-nim, a feisty yet friendly elderly lady who runs the flower shop next door. Despite his age, Sung-chil is inexperienced and clumsy at romance so the entire town cheers him on and helps him court her. But Geum-nim's daughter Min-jung disapproves of the relationship. Kang Je-gyu
Kang Je-gyu (born December 23, 1962) is a South Korean film director. Career After graduating from ChungAng University, Kang received his first prize at the Korea Youth Film Festival and Korea Scenario Awards in 1991. Kang's most notable contributions to Korean cinema have been '' Shiri'' and ''Taegukgi''. ''Shiri'' was the first big budget Hollywood-style action film made in Korea, which broke box office records and was partially responsible for the popularization of domestic films in the country. ''Taegukgi'', directed five years later, again rewrote box office records, having been seen by over ten million people in South Korea alone. ''The Golden Goblet'' is a children's historical novel by Eloise Jarvis McGraw. It was first published in 1961 and received a Newbery Honor award in 1962. Eric Tsang Chi-wai (; born 14 April 1953) is a Hong Kong actor, film director, producer, and television host, best known for hosting the variety show '' Super Trio series'' on the Hong Kong television network TVB over 18 years. Im Ha-ryong (born Im Han-yong on October 31, 1952) is a South Korean actor and comedian.
