Light Rapid Transit
A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd is the operator of the rapid transit (metro) system serving Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley area in Malaysia. An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Pusat Bandar Puchong LRT Station
Pusat Bandar Puchong LRT station is a light rapid transit station at Puchong Town Centre, in Puchong, Selangor. It is operated under the Sri Petaling Line network, between Taman Perindustrian Puchong and IOI Puchong Jaya station. The station is located just beside the busy Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP). Like most other LRT stations operating in Klang Valley, this station is an elevated station, which consists of two side platforms. The station is located near to Tesco Puchong and it is about 25 km south of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The New Pantai Expressway ''(Malay: Lebuhraya Baru Pantai)'' (known as NPE) , is a controlled-access highway in the Klang Valley region of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway runs parallel to the Federal Highway, between Subang Jaya, Selangor in the southwest and Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur in the northeast. Sunway Lagoon is a bus rapid transit station in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia on the BRT Sunway Line. Like other stations, this station is elevated. However, it is painted differently; in orange, to fit in with the surroundings.
