São Lourenço do Bairro is a village and a civil parish of the municipality of Anadia, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 2.414,Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE)
Census 2011 results according to the 2013 administrative division of Portugal
in an area of 15.38 km2. In September 2023 two large wine tanks burst at the Levira distillery in the village, sending an estimated 2.2 million litres of wine flowing through its streets and flooding the basement of a house.

Levira Distillery
Levira Distillery (Destilaria Levira) is a distillery in São Lourenço do Bairro, Anadia, Portugal, founded in 1923. According to ''Público'', Levira is one of the country's largest distilleries. Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Levira partnered with Super Bock to make about of hand sanitizer from of alcohol used in beer. In 2023, the distillery amassed a large quantity of wine in storage due to a European wine surplus. Inflation increased prices on food and drinks and consumers were drinking less wine both in Portugal and in the countries it typically exports to.
