The women's 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games as part of the Swimming at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, swimming programme took place on 26 July at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow, Scotland. Tollcross International Swimming Centre
The Tollcross International Swimming Centre is a swimming pool and leisure centre in Glasgow. It hosted the Swimming (sport), Swimming events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and will host it once more in 2026 Commonwealth Games, 2026. The centre hosted the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships, IPC Swimming World Championships during July 2015. Technical features It has one Olympic size swimming pool, Olympic standard 50 metre swimming pool, which was extensively upgraded, and a second 50-metre pool which was added as a warm-up facility. The pool was reopened on 24 May 2013. The seating capacity of the Pool is 2,000, rising to 5,000 with temporary seating during the Commonwealth Games. Aimee Willmott
Aimee Willmott (born 26 February 1993) is an English competitive swimmer who has represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. She was the 2018 Commonwealth Games champion in the 400 metres individual medley. Life Willmott competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the 400 metre individual medley reaching the final in 2016. She competed in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, 2014 games in Glasgow where she won silver medals in the 400 metre individual medley and 200 metres butterfly and the 2018 Games in Gold Coast, Australia where she won a gold medal in the 400 metre individual medley. Yang Yu (; born February 6, 1985, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang) is an Olympic medal-winning swimmer from the People's Republic of China. She became part of the Chinese national swimming team in 1999, and competed for Team China at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Kamalesh Sharma (born 30 September 1941) is an Indian diplomat who served as the fifth secretary-general of the Commonwealth of Nations from 2008 to 2016. Previously, he was the High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom from 2004 to 2008. In addition, he is the Chancellor Emeritus of Queen's University Belfast.
