Swedish Super League (men's Floorball)
Swedish Super League (SSL, ; formerly, ''Elitserien'') is the highest league in the league system of Swedish floorball and comprises the top 14 Sweden, Swedish floorball teams. The first season began in 1995–96. The season ends with a play-off and a final. The champion of the league is eligible to compete at the Champions Cup (floorball), Champions Cup. The most successful team in the league, with nine titles and the current champion of the 2024–25 season, is Storvreta IBK. History The Swedish Super League was founded in 1995 under the name Elitserien. It then replaced the Division 1 (floorball), Division 1 league as the high level floorball league of Sweden. Swedish Floorball Federation
The Swedish Floorball Federation () is the governing body of floorball in Sweden. It was founded in Sala, Sweden 7 November 1981 and held its first annual meeting, where all 15 clubs were represented, 20 March 1982. From the season of 1983/84 the Swedish Floorball Federation became a section of the Swedish Hockey Association. After this, the interest for floorball in Sweden grew and many new clubs were founded. In 1984 there already were over 100 floorball clubs in Sweden. The 22 November 1985 the Swedish Floorball Federation was accepted as an independent association into the Swedish Sports Confederation (Swedish: ''Riksidrottsförbundet''). Team Thorengruppen
Team Thorengruppen (or Thorengruppen IBK) is a sports club based in Umeå, Sweden. The club was founded in 2005 and is named after its main sponsor. The women's team was founded in 2013 by taking over ''Ersboda SK'' club. Since season 2020–21, it has played in the Swedish Super League. At the same time, it took over players from the dissolved team IKSU, also based in Umeå, the winner of the previous season and a seven-time Swedish champion overall. Since promotion, the team has won all five championship titles, two Champions Cups in 2023 and 2024, and three Swedish Cups. FC Helsingborg (''Floorball Club Helsingborg''), commonly FCH, is a Swedish professional floorball team from Helsingborg. The current club was formed in 2003 by a merging between the floorball section of Högaborgs BK and Ramlösa IBK. In the spring of 2003 the club separated with Högaborg and formed the standalone club FC Helsingborg. The team acquired Högaborgs place in the Elitserien (currently Swedish Super League.)
