Sumit Passi
Sumeet Passi (born 12 September 1994) is an Indian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for I-League club Inter Kashi. Club career Early career Passi began playing the game at a very young age and thanks his father, Jai Prakash Passi who is a former Railways football team, Railways player, as the man who motivated him to become a dedicated footballer. Passi then began his footballing career as a training with Chandigarh Football Academy. In 2007 it was announced that Passi would be the captain of the Chandigarh football team at the under-14s level for the 53rd National School Games. Senior career Passi made his professional debut in football on 2 February 2013 against East Bengal F.C., East Bengal in which he came on in the 77th minute for Dhanpal Ganesh as Pailan Arrows lost the match 2–1. 2022 Durand Cup
The 2022 Durand Cup (also known as IndianOil Durand Cup due to sponsorship ties with Indian Oil Corporation) was the 131st edition of the Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and also the first edition since it was supported by the Asian Football Confederation. This year for the first time the tournament was played in more than one venue.
