The Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE or Institut Pendidikan Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah) is a Bruneian research institute and graduate school of education, located at the Tungku campus of the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). It provides graduate programs with both faculty and a curriculum that aims to improve teaching standards and assist the national educational system. Namesake Born on 15 July 1946, Hassanal Bolkiah has held the positions of Prime Minister since Brunei's independence from the United Kingdom in 1984 and Sultan of Brunei since 1967. The Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD or University of Brunei Darussalam) is a public national university, national research university situated in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, was founded in 1985 and is the oldest institution in the country. Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College
The Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien College (SOASC), natively known as (MSOAS), is a government boys' secondary school in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is the first English secondary school in the country. The school is also one of the only three boys' secondary schools nationwide, with the other two being Muda Hashim Secondary School and Ma'had Islam Brunei (Brunei Islamic College). Tungkadeh, commonly known as Mabohai, is a small neighbourhood in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is officially a village subdivision under Kianggeh, a mukim (subdistrict) of Brunei-Muara District. The postcodes for Tungkadeh are BA1111 and BA1311. Mohammad Hussain Mohammad Yusof
Mohamed Husain bin Mohamed Yusof (1918 – 9 April 2010) was the first Bruneian sent to Australia for teacher training and contributed to founding the Brunei Malay Teacher's College, where he served as a school inspector and professor. Promoted to chief inspector of Malay schools in 1961 and later to deputy inspector in 1967, he retired as inspector in 1973. Marsal Maun
Marsal bin Maun (8 November 1913 – 2000) was a civil servant and educator. He served as deputy state secretary from 1960 to 1962 before becoming Brunei's second (chief minister) from 1962 to 1968.
