Stray From The Path
Stray from the Path is an American hardcore punk band formed in 2001 in Long Island, New York. They have released eleven full-length albums. Their first three records were independently released – ''People Over Profit'' in 2002, ''Audio Prozac'' in 2003, and ''Our Oceania'' in 2004. Stray From The Path then signed with Sumerian Records and released six records with them; ''Villains'' in 2008, ''Make Your Own History'' in 2009, ''Rising Sun'' in 2011, ''Anonymous'' in 2013, ''Subliminal Criminals'' in 2015, and ''Only Death Is Real'' in 2017. They are currently signed to UNFD and released ''Internal Atomics'' in 2019, ''Euthanasia'' in 2022, and ''Clockworked'' in 2025. The Ghost Inside (band)
The Ghost Inside, formerly known as A Dying Dream, is an American metalcore band from El Segundo, California. Formed in 2004, the band currently consists of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarists Zach Johnson and Chris Davis, bassist Jim Riley and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. The group released a total of four studio albums in their initial run. In 2015, the band members were injured in a bus crash and forced to take a hiatus to recover. The ensemble resumed activity in 2018, and have since released two more studio albums, with their sixth album, '' Searching for Solace'', released on April 19, 2024. This Is Hell is an American hardcore punk band from Long Island, New York. The band is known for extensive touring and high energy concerts. They have released five studio albums and five Extended play, EPs. History Early days and formation (2004) This Is Hell formed in June 2004 when Long Island musicians and members of The Backup Plan, Scraps and Heart Attacks, and Subterfuge got together after their previous bands broke up. The name of the band was originally the title of an Brutal Youth (Elvis Costello album), Elvis Costello song. The band quickly released a four-song This Is Hell Demo, self titled demo EP which was later pressed onto vinyl via Boston label Run for Cover Records and in Europe via Broken Glasses Records. Kurt Ballou
Kurt Ballou (born February 1, 1974) is an American musician and record producer based in Massachusetts, best known as the guitarist for metalcore band Converge and for his recording and production work at his own GodCity Studio. Early and personal life Kurt Ballou started playing saxophone in elementary school. He performed in jazz band, concert band and orchestra, dabbling between baritone saxophone, bassoon and bass clarinet. Ballou was accepted to join the Hartford School of Music, but he opted to study aerospace engineering instead. His father used to have a guitar that Ballou played occasionally, but it did not interest him until a school friend gave him Slayer tapes around the age of sixteen. Converge is an American metalcore band formed by vocalist and artist Jacob Bannon and guitarist and producer Kurt Ballou in Salem, Massachusetts in 1990. While recording their landmark fourth album ''Jane Doe (album), Jane Doe'' in 2001, the group became a four-piece with the departure of guitarist Aaron Dalbec and the addition of bassist Nate Newton (musician), Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. This lineup has remained intact since. Terrance Hobbs (born April 6, 1970) is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist of the death metal band Suffocation (band), Suffocation. He has been a constant member in the band since their first released title ''Reincremated'' along with bandmates Frank Mullen and Mike Smith (drummer), Mike Smith, who all met in high school. Hobbs also played in the deathgrind project Criminal Element, which featured fellow Suffocation member, Derek Boyer.
