Steven Gray (born April 8, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Peristeri of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for Gonzaga University. Gray spent his entire professional career overseas, playing in countries such as Greece, France, Israel, Lebanon, Latvia, Croatia and Bosnia. College career After 125 games played for Gonzaga, Gray posted career averages of 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per outing. As a senior, he was voted to the NABC All-District 9 First Team and received All-West Coast Conference First Team honors in 2009–10 and 2010–11. Steve Gray (born c. 1941) is a retired American basketball player. He was a two-time West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, West Coast Athletic Conference player of the year at Saint Mary's Gaels men's basketball, Saint Mary's College. A 6'4 Guard (basketball), guard, Steve Gray was named California Mr. Basketball as a senior at George Washington High School (San Francisco), George Washington High School in San Francisco in 1959. Gray played collegiately at Saint Mary's College from 1960 to 1963 and is one of the best players in Gaels' history. He was a three-time all-conference pick in the WCAC (now called the West Coast Conference). 2013 NBA Summer League
The 2013 NBA Summer League is a pro basketball league run by the NBA just after the 2013 NBA draft. It gives newly drafted players a chance to test their skills against each other, and to give them a feel for professional basketball. All 30 NBA teams participated, along with the D-League Select. The Miami Heat were the only team to participate in both Summer Leagues. It ran from July 7–12 in Orlando and July 12–22 in Las Vegas. Jeremy Lamb of the Oklahoma City Thunder was named the Most Valuable Player of the Orlando Summer League. The Indiana Pacers are an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American organization of men's college basketball coaches. It was founded in 1927 by Phog Allen, the men's basketball head coach for the University of Kansas. Formation of the NABC began when Joint Basketball Rules Committee, then the central governing authority of the game, announced without notice that it had adopted a change in the rules which virtually eliminated dribbling. Allen, a student of basketball founder James Naismith, organized a nationwide protest which ultimately resulted in the dribble remaining part of the game.
